Starting as a Sole Trader, Wendy’s Music grew to operate in over 30 primary schools, 4 retail studios and ultimately franchised before recently moving to a fully online business model and unique teacher directory.

Wendy is not only a qualified and experienced classroom and instrumental teacher who has also been an examiner and adjudicator, but she is known as an entrepreneur in the music education sector. Wendy has been running and operating her own Music Teaching business since age 18!
Part of her success has been writing her own teaching Method for multiple instruments and also books for Music teachers.
Wendy has been running her own private teaching studio since 1978 and been employing teachers to assist her since 1985 in a variety of educational settings around Melbourne and Victoria, Australia. Wendy has developed and run Instrumental music programs in Primary School Preschool music programs, Retail Music teaching Studios, Retail instrument and Sheet Music Sales and includes Wendy’s Music franchise system.
Wendy has trained hundreds of teachers to not only use her teaching system but also in effective teaching methods and music school administration.
As a business owner she has experience managing: Financial systems Human resources/recruitment & training Merchandising, Advertising and Marketing Intellectual Property Technology Legal frameworks and much more!
Wendy’s personal successes and failures give her a unique ability to assist other Music teachers in building the lifestyle and Music School Success they dream of.
