Music Recording and Production

DESCRIPTION OF PROGRAM

Music Recording and Production Program is designed for those who want to learn how to Record their own music.

Music Recording: more focused on audio recording, the students can learn the basic of digital audio recording, learning how to use microphones, audio interfaces and Digital Audio Workstation Software to create their own records from simple takes to more complex sessions, the goal is to learn recording, mixing and mastering the music. I can give the classes in my home studio or If students want to create a basic lab at home to study and practice they would need to start three basic tools, a computer (could be an iPad or laptop), an audio interface and a microphone.

Music Production: it is a more complete skill, students will need to learn music recording but because we are going to produce music they will also need to learn midi language and how to use midi controllers to play, write, and arrange music digitally, developing basic ideas into more complex songs, learning the basics of arranging concepts, and composing from improvising or shaping from raw ideas.
The general idea is to make a creative environment where students of any instruments, (pianists, guitarists, singers, etc) or genres of any level can start creating music, recording music, using the skills they have learnt from the previous music lessons as a base to start with.

Activity choices include:
